Neo-confucian is a broad category but any of the writers would do... especially Chinese Neoconfucian, because any system of ideas adapts itself to social reality after a while, so every religion ends up supporting war I've found... so I'm trying to figure if the original neoconfucains talked of it?

From what I've read, they view war as something that happens, they are slightly against it, viewing it as a waste of resources, but its an unavoidable fact of life.
