My fellow Kemetics, please feel free to add to this in anyway you please. The ancient Kemetics had a wide influence on world religion for a large part. The Jews got their concept of an ark from the Egyptians, and the 10 commandments bear a strong similarity with the 42 Purifications of Ma'at, an Egyptian code of ethics. Christianity with it's mother and child icons, very much mimic those of Aset and her son Heru in ancient Kemet. There was also a ceremony of bread in wine in ancient Kemet, involving Wesir (Osiris) and the offering cakes of the akhu (ancestors). The offering cakes were burned on a funeral pyre before the idol of Wesir, while the rest of the cakes were distrubuted to the people, and then a cup of blessing the Priest of Osiris blessed for the people containing either water, wine, or both. Islam has daily contact prayers called Salat, and also water purification called Wuhdu. The ancient Egyptians had daily contact prayers at specific times each day called Dua, a Kemetic word meaning praise. The Nisut of our faith still prays all four daily prayers, while laypersons are only required to pray one in the ritual of Senut. Wuhdu is also similar to the Kemetic method of purification. Cleaning every oriface of the body with water before prayer. The ears, the nose, the mouth and the backside. It can't be said rather Kemeticism influenced Hinduism, or the other way around, so this last one is a guess. The concept of dharma and karma shares much in common with the way of Ma'at.
