Hi, Devoted. I'm afraid I don't understand your reasoning at all. I believe that what Jesus was saying to Peter was that he (Peter) was blessed because he received his knowledge of who Jesus was (i.e. the Christ, the Son of the Living God) by revelation from God as opposed to just listening to and believing mortal men (i.e. flesh and blood). I really don't think the verse has anything at all to do with the corporeal or incorporeal nature of God. Feel free to disagree, but I have never heard any other Christian say that this verse is saying what you believe it is.
