The word Zen came from chan which came from *dhyana* .
Yes, its all about being HERE-NOW and yes, there is a constant attempt to be HERE-NOW.
Kindly do start a thread under ZEN wherein we can all learn as to what one does at a Zen monastry. Surely like to know about it. Personally not attached to any organsised religious groups and Religion as a WAY is one that each individual takes rather its a personal journey to that state called nirvana.
