i was on holiday. a few days before i left, i ended internet connection because there would be noone to use it. today i travelled like 200 kms. now i am home with internet again

Hi mate, how's that? better than being called the kid?, anyway, I just sent you a message but I don't think I done it right, these new fangled computer weren't round in my younger days and although i use it I don't want to become too proficant in its use and nor do i have the time to be bothered, I've got a busy life outside this forum. In fact the wife and I are off to Cooktown or around that area for a month or so, just want to chill out and chase a bit of colour up that was, gold that is. But that won't be for a week or two yet. anyway, nice to hear from you and I will say hello to my grand children for you, see ya round like a doenut.

I worked with a first grade class (5-7 year olds) in Toronto, Canada over the summer, and I loved them so much. They were so cute. They were sad when I had to go back home. They asked if I would visit. It made me sad, because I was there on a trip with other students and professors from my school, and I knew I would probably never see any of them again, since I don't even live in the same country as they do.

I've had two jobs.
One for 2 years, at a fast food restaraunt.
And one for 4 days... and a drive-in movie theater.

I hated them both.

Now I'm in University, in my third year, studying to be a teacher.
I want to teach kids who are 9 years old or younger.
Because I like kids, but I don't want to actually have to raise my own.
Plus, I think I'd be a good teacher.
A lot of teachers aren't very good, and I think kids deserve good teachers, so I hope to be one of the good ones that kids will look up to.

Older people love younger people. They think of us as their children.
Keep in mind, some of the people on this site are 50 years old or older...
To them, you are really really young.
You could be the age of some of their grandchildren. O_O

I love making friends with older people. At my old job, I was always friends with the older employees.
It was at a restaraunt. I got along better with the people who were my mom's age than the people who were my age...

I think sometimes people can tell just based on how you word things and what sorts of things you talk about. Like, since you said you are studying, I could guess you aren't too old. And people can tell I'm not too old because I still live at my mom's house. (that, and I told everyone how old I am.)

I wouldn't have been offended. It's not often that people online think I'm older than I really am. They usually think I'm younger, since I say stupid things all the time... O_O

Well, I'm only 20, so I don't think I could have been your mom.
