As a Roman Catholic I was taught in order to be a true believer one needs to challenge one's faith. When I had the opportunity to do so I found faith in a deity or deities to be nothing more than alternative facts. Since everyone can find out for themselves if what they believe in is true or false, the question remains will believers test the validity of their belief and if so, will they accept this knowledge or willfully ignore it?
