Why? They haven't been for over a year and gas / energy prices are much lower now then back when Russia was weaponizing gas supplies.
Reserves are also comfortably filled. So clearly, we don't actually need that Russian gas.

I wasn't aware that speculation concerning some crazy conspiracy that Ukraine received secret orders from the secret unevidenced shadow government of the US to secretly sabotage datacables between finland and germany weeks after the election, was an important point in the election.
