Sorry I forgot to reply about the Mahdi. He is the redeemer who will come at the end of time and will unite the Ummah. He will be from the line of the Prophet (SAW). I don't know a great deal on the subject but if you have any good links online I would be interested to read them.

I am also glad to know that there are still people in Turkey who are holding to the Islamic principles. Sorry to say this but The Turkish soap operas show that Turkish people are away from Islamic principles. I don't watch them but sometimes when we are invited in someone's house I saw some parts of it. You know what I admired watching pictures of the marriage of your president's daughter while wearing the Hijab masha'Allah! I was proud of that. I know that there are people there who are holding stick to the Islamic teaching but those soap operas show the secular part.
