Your persistence in the way of Allah is most honourable. I would advise you not to ask common muslims as to which sect is the best. That would only show you the weaknesses in muslims. Every sect will say that the other is wrong.
Try and follow those practices first that are basic in Islam and everyone agrees on them.
For example, that God is one and Muhammad was His messenger. If you attain firm belief in this idea then no matter what happens, you will never get astray from Islam. After that you may choose whatever sect you like best.
