    Yes, so if Hydrogen was the very first element (Because as you said, Hydrogen is only a single proton and as such doesn't require the same formation process as other atoms) then the very first star (assuming its a star) that formed other elements would have been clear? (Doesn't hydrogen burn clear?) Because that seems neatful.

    So, if every atom was formed inside a star except for Hydrogen, where does Hydrogen come from? Was the first star purely hydrogen? (Doesn't Hydrogen make up the majority of normal matter?)
