My avatar picture is for the Shia Muslim, third imam (Successor to the prophet). He is the grandson of the prophet (Peace be upon him and the imams). The picture portrays an important moment from the battle of Karbala. It is the battle during which imam Hussain was killed with most of his family member by the Umayyad Dynasty Army after he refused to give Oath of allegiance to the brutal ruler of that time.

During the battle imam Hussain has taken his infant to the enemy in order for them to give the infant some water…The commander ordered one of his soldiers to kill the infant.
At that moment Imam Husain filled his hand with the blood of his infant and threw the blood toward the sky…(According to Shia beliefs, no drop came down). The last sentence is part of the Shia beliefs …
