    <Somewhat OT> What's it with the "Peter" Verhoeven thing? Is it meant to be an in-joke? It's Paul Verhoeven. Also, equating him with "Showgirls" doesn't do the man justice. The man produced fan-tas-tic movies: Black Book, Robocop, Starshop Troopers (yes, it *is* a fantastic movie). </OT>

    Erm...by that logic: - if there was nothing wrong with peace, secular countries would always be peaceful (there wouldn't be war). - if there was nothing wrong with x, there wouldn't be opposite of x right?

    Have you actually read David Raup's or Carl Sagan's work or or you quote mining (your own words)? What you've quoted here is completely taken out of context and misrepresents their position.

    Do yourself a favour and read a book on evolution, b/c it's clear that you don't even understand it at its basic level. Then formulate an argument as to what's wrong and why.
