My question that is on my mind is: since we need to ask to be forgiven always as we sin daily no matter what; when we pray for forgiveness of sins how do you maintain and stay like that? For instance I would be 'good' for a couple of days to weeks then I would somehow do the same mistake...

I feel its this way because seriously speaking, Jesus didn't come to make a new religion nor break the laws and customs practiced but fulfilled them. After his death and ascension many people started to call themselves "Christians" or even "Messianics".

As an Orthodox Christian I feel its really different i.e Greek, Russian, Syrian, Serbian Orthodox compared to Catholicism, Protestant, Anglican etc. I feel that the West has changed the true meaning and changed it to fit the society we live in. What do you think?
I know what it is. My question is it wasn't really taught in the scriptures it was developed by a church. So, why do we believe what the church created rather than what the scriptures actually say?

Knowledge and understanding is the key to everything. I might be a Christian but doesn't make me ignorant of scientific advances and explanations. I might not agree with the whole concept of Evolution but its interesting to know other views besides the religious views on this issue. (:
