That's pretty wild. I didn't detect any obvious patterns of harmony. but I am intrigued about the oscillation effect. Trying to think of some natural phenomenon in space that could cause that but nothing comes to mind right now. Maybe it is aliens! I'll give it a deeper listen later.
Then here is something beautiful for your eyes:
I made this video while trying to visualize the Haleluya Signal. My equipment was not precise enough to get a good image but this one made from pure sine waves sure is awesome. This is what harmony looks like.
Wow the article says the sun is equivalent to 10 million keys of a piano! Better get some noise canceling headphones.
The sun sounds like Cathedral bells? I'd love to hear that.
I'm sorry :( I hope I wasn't insulting.
It is indeed very very subtle. When I get some more precise equipment I plan on making a new more clear version. Complete with a spectrogram and more supporting evidence. Then you can see it!
Cool video. But I didn't see where it talked about underlying patterns of the background radiation making any kind of discernable sound. In my experiment I also tried using a sample of the CMB as an audio source and the same pattern emerged! The Haleluya sound is what happens when you remove the...
Yes you pretty much got it :) They cycle and eventually line up together to sing 'Ha', then immediately followed by 'Le', etc... The whole thing is a collection of frequencies cycling in and out of harmony. And when they are most balanced, the word emerges.
Yes it indeed is very pleasing. I...
Your headphones might not be precise enough. The frequencies are very subtle. You have to listen for the unison of voices. And notice that they follow the laws of polyrhythmic harmony.
I am very aware of Pareidolia
As a mixing engineer, it is something I am trained to be wary of. One of the...
I recently did an experiment where I tried to simulate a Bose Einstein Condensate. And of course me being a musician, I thought, if this thing is moving like a sound wave in unison then what might it sound like?
Turns out I was quite shocked when it sounded like Ha-Le-Lu-Ya
So I made a...
