I sadly voted no. While technology and things like it are making life better, it's not making humans better. We have gotten lazy, spoiled, greedy and judgemental.
There is a supplement called Gaba that works to help relaxation and sleep for those who ruminate in the evenings. It helps calm a racing mind. It's a neurotransmitter in the brain, so it's not introducing anything foreign. It's not expensive either.
You made a mistake, but it's okay. Other jobs will come. People make mistakes all the time, every day. Don't be hard on yourself. You're being a human.
Without believing, it's okay to think Jesus was a good role model in some ways, that The Golden Rule is a good idea, etc. I don't see anything shocking about that.
The original religions of Native Americans depended on the tribe but they were pretty pantheistic. They are cool religions, but Christianity came in and crushed all of them.
