But then the verse continues saying
"others are allegorical"
None of the Transactions, interpreted it the way you are.

How do you know your interpretation is correct, and everyone else, got it wrong?
If Khaatam literally means "Final", why the Arab scholars argued that, its metaphorical meaning is Finality?
I quote Wikipedia:
The meaning of seal, is not end. I am an engineer, and I have a seal. When I finish a document, I stamp it, to mean, that, a Registered engineer approved it. Yet, that is not the last document. Another day, I will stamp another document. Next year another document. Also, sometimes, we need...
God had placed His seal on Jesus.
So, if seal denotes Finality, jesus was the Last one:
"Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him."
John 6:27
And the...
Abdullah ibn Amr reported: We said, “O Messenger of Allah, who are the best people?” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
One with a heart swept clean and truthful in speech.
We said, “O Messenger of Allah, we know...
That is not what the Quran says though. You must have learned this idea from somewhere else. I think You should weigh your idea against the verses of the Quran. If Quran agrees with it, then fine. If not, consider, those who taught it to you, had misunderstood it themselves.
"Do not follow...

Actually the term "Khaatam Unnabiyeen" is a very good example of Mutishabihat verse, because there is ambiguity in it. If there was not, we would all agree what it means.
Khaatam can mean "Ring", "Signet Ring", or "Seal" (Stamp).
So, this can be interpreted differently.
For...
Where does it say "from the book comes"?
When looking at this Hadith, it is clear that, the Book is divided into two types of verses:
So, what you are saying, all verses of Quran are Muhkam. But when someone misinterpret it, it becomes Mutishabih?
But that's not what Quran says:
Ok, but, let's also consider what تاويل (interpretation of Mutishabihat ) is.
First, is it fair to say, that, what is Mutishabih in Quran, have Taweel, and what is Muhkam, does not require Taweel?
Can this be derived from verse 3:7 ?
When it says, None knows its interpretation except God and...
well this Hadith tells us otherwise:
Ok, but I was hoping there would be a Hadith that actually gives an example, saying this is "Apparent"
Anyways, I get back to this "Apparent" later.
I think here was another Hadith you quoted, but I just founded it too:
Ok, that is the whole Hadith you quoted:
Imam Sadiq (a) regarding interpretation "the clear" is "the Commander of the faithful and the Imams/leaders (peace be upon them) and the ambiguous is fulan and fulan(which is an expression for Abu Bakr and Umar in our hadiths) who are away from the truth...
Thanks.
Those are long Hadithes with good guidance, but based on what they said, do you think you can give an example of Muhkamaat and and example of Mutishabihat? Are there examples from the Imams or the Quran itself that says, this is an example of what Allah means by Mutishabihat, and this...
Let me ask you this.
How do we know if an Ayih in Quran is Muhkam or Mutishabihat?
How do we distinguish Mutishabihat verses?
I don't want to argue about opinions, who is right here. But rather a clear guideline by Prophet or Imams, supported by verses of Quran that tells us, how we know an...
"Fear God and He will teach you" is a verse of the Quran.
I understand "God fearing" to mean, one who does not sin. He does not lie, does not backbite, does not commit fornication, does not treat any being unfairly. On the other hand, he is kind to all beings, he is truthful, generous to the...
My take is, Lut and Abraham were sent to two different Tribes or people.
.According to Islamic tradition and the Quran, Ibrahim was sent to his people who practiced idolatry, while Lut was sent to the people of Sodom and Gomorrah who were known for their immoral and sinful behavior...
