    One doesn't need to be affiliated to DSA to support socialism. Actually, many of the policies supported by DSA are not even socialist per se. Can you elaborate on why and how socialism is a threat to USA? Hardly any elected politician is a socialist.

    Thanks for the clarification. Bernie Sanders is neither a Democrat (for quite some years already, although it is accurate to say at some point he was) nor affiliated to the DSA. Either way, why would those affiliated with the DSA represent the elite within the Democratic party?
