Of course. Most of Europe is not big on religion, in the meantime.
We Swedes aren't, either. Nevertheless our system recognizes new religions if they satisfy some requirements. Being sensible is not one of them, for obvious reasons.

Nope. We belong to an entirely different category. I do not have any religion. Religions are for people content with basing their worldview on something that has the same evidence of black cats bringing bad luck.
