I don't think there was any sacrifice. Independently from perspectives.
The best you can say is that Christ sacrificed His Passover weekend for your sins.
Unless we consider "sacrifice" spending the weekend for something which we find suboptimal.

The problem with that is that Jesus knew it before "sacrificing" Himself. At least, according to the NT.
It would be like me paying a million to redeem the debts of a friend, knowing that I will magically get my million back on Monday.
Big deal.

I disagree, I believe there is enough evidence that the earth is not flat.
I wonder why the curvature of the earth is still discussed after centuries where it has been established.

Well, when you have criminal hordes trying to invade Europe, probably it is best to be prepared. Especially, because they might take your motto too seriously, if we take into account their rapist nature, too.

of course I know those people. Italian is basically my second most proficient language, not to speak of all the Italian newspapers I read.
i think Jesus sort of pacifism is exactly what causes wars. The only way to have peace is to acquire such a capacity of destruction that people think twice...
My ancestors (vikings) also had a beautiful explanation for lightnings a few centuries ago, when nobody had a clue. That they have been caused by Thor. When He was sort of pissed. The same with thunders, as the name suggests.
ergo, having an explanation, entails that the explanation is true...
There is no evidence of design in nature.
Ergo, your argument is not evidence, either.
There is zero evidence on any spirit, too.
I told you what evidence is. You commented that proof is not required, I agreed. Yet, what you presented still fall short of providing evidence of anything...
I think he respect Jesus far too much. I think Jesus is probably the most overrated person in history, independently of his claims of divinity. A little bit like Angela Merkel in recent history.
Peacemakers that just cause wars.

I prefer Odiffredi, among Italian authors in that area. His book about human stupidity is quite good, and accurate.
He is also quite spiritual, in a much simpler way. No need to make things more complicated than they need to.
