I remember when rock was young
Me and Susie had so much fun
Holding hands and skimming stones
Had an old gold Chevy, and a place of my own
But the biggest kick I ever got
Was doing a thing called the Crocodile Rock
While the other kids were rocking 'round the clock
We were hopping...
When my baby's walking down the street
I see red, I see red, I see red
How could someone wicked walk 'round free
I see red, I see red, I see red
I see red, ooh I see red (red)
I see red
I bought a new bedside clock yesterday. They had one that was just a clock for $45 or one that is a clock and wireless charger for $19.
So being a cheapskate I got the $19 one then last night I was lying there thinking I got something 12 inches from my head shooting out electricity.
Ready on the starting line
Guns in the air
Eyes on the target
Enemy everywhere
Here she comes again now
Hear the crowd sigh
Gather up my courage
Say, come on, come on, come on, come on, yeah-yeah
Hey, let's go, let's go, let's go
Hey, let's go, let's go, let's go
Hey, let's...
I wasn't looking for a love that's true
But there's no way that I'll get over you
I'm not the kind to sweep you off your feet
But hurry, girl, because I'm losing sleep
Now little darling, you're the only one
My heart is racing like I'm on the run
Yeah, little darling, won't you say...
Baby
You were always gonna be the one
You only ever did it just for fun
But you run to paradise
Jenny
I'll meet you at the grocery store
You don't need a friend when you can score
You run to paradise
Ooh!
Johnny
We were always best of friends
Stick together and defend
But...
(For Armistice Day.)
Well, how'd you do, Private William McBride?
Do you mind if I sit here down by your graveside?
I'll rest here awhile in the warm summer sun,
I've been walking all day, Lord, and I'm nearly done.
And I see by your gravestone you were only 19
When you joined the...
When the war is over
Got to get away
Pack my bags to no place
In no time no day
You and I we used each other's shoulder
Still so young but somehow so much older
How can I go home and not get blown away
