Just for the brave among us -- analyze a Trump speech.

His speeches terrify half of the people in the US. They terrify me. A good friend of mine loves trump and hates vance but will still vote for trump. She excuses everything he says because she "knows" that he is just a bad speaker and he really cares for everyone and will be best for the us...

Some scientists believe the universe is conscious

I linked Wikipedia but I can look up specific studies that shows new research into the behavior in plants showing how much more complex it is then we have accepted. The problem is that one must think on a plant timescale instead of human. One must understand how their consciousness would differ...

Some scientists believe the universe is conscious

How can you actually separate time and space other than in imagination?

Some scientists believe the universe is conscious

It is not anthro at all it is anthropocentric to not accept dormant periods of time for plants for regenerative processes which we call sleep.

Some scientists believe the universe is conscious

This depends on if you only are approaching the question from a anthropocentric view. Trees do not have neurons to remember yet they have memory in relationship to the world. The world view of a bat and a human are different because of the way the sense and relate to the world. If only identical...

    Judging what is unlikely

You have two stories with two different purposes and both contain truth. One may be a better approximation of the physical events that could be observed but does not accurately explain the spiritual experience occurring. All texts have a mythologic truth and often have some historic truth also.

Some scientists believe the universe is conscious

There is another view that consciousness is a property of our universe inherent in the world that is phenomena that all things could express but in relation to their existence and time scale. In humans it is best expressed in the neurologic pathways while in a tree which still has an electrical...

Some scientists believe the universe is conscious

I like the term mental constructs it is a wonderful phenomenal term when the mean neuro connection patterns activated at once. The problem is that this is the structural pattern to generate consciousness experienced in humans but it is not a definition of consciousness and I was wondering what...

Some scientists believe the universe is conscious

I ask for your definition because of the problem of defining experiential phenomena. We know that matter carries the capacity to generate consciousness because we experience it. If matter thus atoms have the capacity to generate it then there is all kinds of possibilities with one being the...

How will Trump accomplish a miracle? A question for Trump supporters.

What is equally fascinating is why the entire republican party except for a few are not correcting him on anything he says. Every time a republican is questioned about what he says, they all give a translation into something completely different than what he says. It seems that trump should...

Monotheism is not economically, or socially viable

Capitalism is an economic system based on the private ownership of the means of production and their operation for profit - From Wikipedia. Capitalism is not nature it is a human concept of economics. Unrestrained capitalism is destructive by the nature of and individual being greater than the...

Monotheism is not economically, or socially viable

Profound statement but utterly meaningless. It does have a nice rhyme though.

    Science and Spirituality

I agree they both complement each other and represent two equally important aspects of wisdom.

Monotheism is not economically, or socially viable

Don't be a what? You seemed to leave out some of the letters. I wonder why? I found the NASA article where they actually diverted an asteroid and found it very interesting and learned from it. That is nice to know but will be pointless unless we divert the direction of environmental damage we...

Monotheism is not economically, or socially viable

As for wisdom. We as a population do not have the maturity nor the wisdom to control much of the technology available and it is causing mass extinction. I missed the asteroid news. I do not know of any clear evidence that we could adequately alter an asteroid but I am open to learning.

Monotheism is not economically, or socially viable

No I want to go forward by reconnecting with the past when humans lived in connection and resonance with the world. Then use that wisdom to use the technology we have to restore that relationship. As for asteroids I am not sure we have the technology enough to stop a massive asteroid yet...

Trump is losing the debate acting like a raving lunatic

And Trump does not understand it at all. Because of a friend if mine I have followed him for years. He has always been known to make up things to sound not only more correct but billions and billions of times more correct than anyone has ever been since the dawn of time. His niece and nephew had...

    Let's Talk About Paganism

The book Drawing down the moon by Margret Adler gives and interesting perspective on the development of pagan religions with hers more centered in the us and through communications to practicing people. The one thing that struck me was how many described becoming pagan felt like "coming home"...
