    Drinking age and the military?

    Interesting

Men and women. Friends or foes?

Well my reality has been shattered

    Drinking age and the military?

Agreed. But I wasn’t making an argument against allowing teenagers to drink. I’m Australian. Our legal age is 18. Which I’m pretty sure was lowered due to the argument “old enough to kill. Old enough to drink.”

    Drinking age and the military?

And yet you let them in the military? Bro. If you’re old enough to die, why shouldn’t you be old enough to drink? Which is the normal argument Either raise the military age or lower the drinking one But I agree that 17 and 18 year olds are immature and impulsive

    Drinking age and the military?

That’s very interesting I agree Agreed. I think our drunk driver ages vary considerably. Considering when we allow teens to drive legally I’m not saying that the concern was one that was wholly logical. I don’t think it was, personally. I’m just saying that that’s what happened

    Drinking age and the military?

Interesting. That’s was basically our reasoning for lowering our drinking age. Maybe because of how our laws work, the federal law was imposed more easily. I don’t know. We don’t have a lot of difference in our state laws in comparison. So I’m assuming that was the case. The drunk driving issue...

Men and women. Friends or foes?

I’d rather be more..direct in my response. Just so there’s no misunderstandings ;)

Men and women. Friends or foes?

Lol so? I’ve seen muscular fit strapping young men get kicked in the nether region. Presumably for ticking off the girl he was flirting with Real life is not some romance magazine or book. Some people might be “ready to go.” Depending on how err thirsty they may be. That’s not everyone though.

    Transphobia

Lol incidentally. My younger nephew just showed me a video of a Zoomer lefty streamer who was mocking this exact thing. The video was mocking folks for trying to basically inspect people’s genitals. I think the kids call them “transvestigstors.” And having seen some of their ahem conclusions...

Men and women. Friends or foes?

Yeah it hasn’t sounded very accurate, truth be told. But I’m not American so

Men and women. Friends or foes?

Don’t know about Americans. But I can certainly see some Aussie gals throwing a few punches. Or if they’re in a club, a splashing a drink over them or even worse (we call it “being glassed” here.) Doesn’t matter if you’re an Adonis, you respect personal boundaries like a grown up or suffer the...

Men and women. Friends or foes?

I don’t even think that’s accurate in Europe! Not entirely anyway. Sure I know plenty of women who like or even prefer gossip and make up and what have you. But I also know plenty of women soccer fans in say England (family is from there.) I know plenty of female football fans in my own country...

    Transphobia

Ngl that is pretty funny lol And possibly something I would do for a laugh. For what it’s worth, I would have called you brilliant. Admittedly with a level of snark. But still. I would call you as directed. My mother did raise me to have manners, after all ;) I worked in retail for a long...

    Drinking age and the military?

So this is just pure curiosity on my part. As I understand it, you can enlist in the military at age 18 in the United States, regardless of the state. Correct? But there are some (not all) states that stipulate the legal drinking age to be at minimum 21. I’m under no delusions that people...

    Transphobia

I mean to be fair, all pronouns are made up and actually vary quite widely in various languages. Depending on their usage and context even If anything English is very lazy with its use of pronouns. And indeed has evolved through the centuries. I mean when was the last time you heard someone say...

    Transphobia

You know, truth be told, I’ve seen far more news stories about GOP politicians trying to lower the age of consent. And even defend marrying 12 year olds. (That was quite the scandal!) Voting against legal restrictions to child marriage as well. Which has honestly left me pretty disturbed. I...

Men and women. Friends or foes?

You clearly didn’t read the stories I did at the time lol It depended on the paper, I suppose. Some were patting him on the back, some called him trash and without class. I think that was primarily after the kids were born though. Him being in an arranged marriage probably bought him a bit of...

Men and women. Friends or foes?

They forced him to confess because his political opponents (who may have had affairs of their own, who knows) emotionally manipulated them into a fury. Welcome to politics, my friend lol Do you seriously believe that is some American only thing? It was nothing but propaganda and PR...
