    Near Death Experiences and Religion

I volunteered for Hospice a few years and those are not hallucinations. Many have seen glimpses of heaven or the spirit world. I am one of them.

Near Death experiences and the scientific method.

What is your evidence the brain creates the person.

Near Death experiences and the scientific method.

You want evidence and I give it. Good for most people at least to consider. What is your evidence the brain creates the person.

    Near Death Experiences and Religion

Good question. Mainly because most people associate death with religion. It gets attention.

    Near Death Experiences and Religion

You change what I write to suit your need to believe in science. It is OK. You don't have to be that frightened of spiritual things, there is no hell, judgment, or punishments doled out to the unbelievers. God loves and cares for them just as He does the faithful.

    Near Death Experiences and Religion

That is entirely logical. A spirit without a body can not communicate with a body. No eyes, ears, or mouth. A spirit can communicate with another spirit, which means if the person knew this and the other person was open to it, some communication could take place. People newly out of body would...

I don't think there is anything I can show you that will be convincing.

    Near Death Experiences and Religion

1 Corinthians 13: The Bible's "Love Chapter" I have no idea why one would make up a NDE. On rare occasions I have run across someone who seems to have an experience that does not follow the norm for them. These experiences are neither about science or religion. They are some that have been...

Near Death experiences and the scientific method.

Seems everyone I know talks and believes in spirit. I experienced it, no question in my mind.

Near Death experiences and the scientific method.

That is a given. Can't think why anyone would not understand. You don't want to know or believe and is is OK. You don't have to explain it. I understand.

Near Death experiences and the scientific method.

Nothing in this world is supernatural, magic, miracles, etc. There are only things we don't understand. Every effect has a cause. Some say they see ghosts and others say they are dreaming. Both are wrong. Both lack knowledge of the cause and effect.

And your opinion, like mine to you, is nothing more than woo. Whatever that means?

You didn't even look at the video.

Near Death experiences and the scientific method.

What are you saying? That the skill was not in the brain? Of course you can't explain how it got there, not with science anyway. Yes, by default it is spirit.

Near Death experiences and the scientific method.

You haven't been watching the videos. The doctors did say it was evidence of spirit. Of course it does.

Near Death experiences and the scientific method.

Are you saying the brain jumped out of body and observed, along with the eyes and ears. What would you say it was?
  19. Lekatt

Near Death experiences and the scientific method.

That did not make sense. I asked how science explains this skill got into his brain without lessons or practice. You did not answer the question.

I have never indicated you had to believe anything. Belief or non-belief changes nothing. Truth is truth.
