INDISPUTABLE Rational Proof That God Exists (Or Existed)

But that's not how you measure length.
  2. PolyHedral

INDISPUTABLE Rational Proof That God Exists (Or Existed)

A circle doesn't have an infinite circumference.
  3. PolyHedral

INDISPUTABLE Rational Proof That God Exists (Or Existed)

Sure, but it's not infinite anymore.
  4. PolyHedral

INDISPUTABLE Rational Proof That God Exists (Or Existed)

You can get away with non-infinite time if you say that time is cylical. (Which isn't totally implausible, given the state of particle physics)
  5. PolyHedral

    God is Entropy

Sure it does - lots of thought produces lots of waste heat. :D
  6. PolyHedral

INDISPUTABLE Rational Proof That God Exists (Or Existed)

Do explain what evidence contradicts the idea of an infinite homogenous inflationary universe
  7. PolyHedral

    God is Entropy

Once you start talking about configurations, you've already implicitly dragged in "something" for the configuration to be of.

Can a nation with only computers stay free?

Where would you get the resources to pull off a DDOS against the US?
  9. PolyHedral

    God is Entropy

Godel's theorem applies to logical systems, not physics. The rules of the two are very different.
  10. PolyHedral

Can a nation with only computers stay free?

A large EMP weapon does require a nuclear detonation.
  11. PolyHedral

INDISPUTABLE Rational Proof That God Exists (Or Existed)

We care because other people care.
  12. PolyHedral

Can a nation with only computers stay free?

I wasn't asking about their system, I was asking about yours, because detonating a nuclear device above the US to destroy their electrical systems would probably be met with nuclear retaliation.
  13. PolyHedral

Can a nation with only computers stay free?

It will blind most of the US. A lot of military hardware is EMP-hardened. (Not to mention that the only effective way to generate an EMP is to detoante a nuke, which technically means you've just used a WMD against the United States... How good is your anti-ICBM tech? :D )

Can a nation with only computers stay free?

Geostationary orbit is a very big place, and in turn is very hard to get to. You'd have to be very well-equipped to get anything up there, let alone the budget to cause any lage amount of damage.
  15. PolyHedral

    Heaven Hell And Death

Living forever as a human would be boring anyway. I'd much prefer acheiving nigh-eternal life the long way around, i.e. sufficiently advanced technology. :D
  16. PolyHedral

    The Tyre prophecy

ala The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch? :p
  17. PolyHedral

    God is Entropy

Contrariwise, we know the laws of physics would work wildly differently if there were any different number of dimensions to the universe.
  18. PolyHedral

Couple robs hotel, gets two different sentences

    That was rather silly. :p
  19. PolyHedral

INDISPUTABLE Rational Proof That God Exists (Or Existed)

He appearing unto you would be quite reasonable evidence.
