Is there a point to belief in a non-conceptual Brahman?

Incidentally, the belief in Brahmin and the experience of Brahmin, if you must call it that, are worlds apart. Until you renounce both, that is.

Is Strict Routine a Prerequisite to Meditative Progress?

Is strict routine a prerequisite to meditative progress? Is it necessary, for example, to meditate 20 minutes twice daily to witness marked improvement? Is spontaneous meditation (without a routine) a hindrance to progress? An advantage?

Now it's Hillary vs. Trump... how will you pick?

Naive? That's rich. Not voting accomplishes less than nothing. Literally. In fact, the system rejoices when people don't vote. Why do you think Republicans in Congress have been working so diligently to implement so-called "voter suppression laws?" Seriously, get a grip. Voting is a small form...

Now it's Hillary vs. Trump... how will you pick?

Honestly, I think not voting is the most pathetic form of protest. The apathy...it really You can make all the excuses you want to not vote; they're only designed to deflect feelings of hopelessness. Whether you like it or not, the decision-making process will carry on without you, and the...

New Hampshire Primary: Sanders and Trump Victories

So far, the victors in the primary states are unsurprising. I'm excited to see how the other states will play out. See what the various media are saying: http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2016-election/trump-sanders-sweep-victory-new-hampshire-primaries-nbc-news-n515191...

Bernie supporters: He wins and the Democrats take back the Senate, then ...

This is key. And that has been his focus from the start. When Sanders was interviewed on ABC a couple months before he officially decided to run, to the reporter who told Sanders that most people didn't believe he could become president, he famously responded, "Don't underestimate me." I...

'I went to a Trump rally in a Hijab...'

I hope you aren't suggesting that this is a conspiracy or something put on by the Republican party to get one of their own elected. That sounds even crazier than Trump.

'I went to a Trump rally in a Hijab...'

What I find kind of comical is the herd focus on Donald Trump because he's so "outrageous," but if people listened to any of the other Republican candidates for even a second, they'd realize that they're basically all Donald Trump. Each one is just as crazy as the last.

    The Obligatory Fallout 4 Thread

I have a pathetic amount of disk space: 120Gb total. It's a lone solid state drive. It's great for load times, but I had to delete the Fallout 3 installation on my computer just to install FO4. My cousin gave me a used 500Gb HD, which I intended to use as a main storage drive, but it was...

    The Obligatory Fallout 4 Thread

The game's pretty awesome, I must say. And very addicting. She's running at 60 frames on ultra settings on my computer. It looks absolutely gorgeous. I'm using an Xbox One controller, so I feel like I have the best of both worlds.

    How does Feminism view Men?

I just did, but I believe you're misunderstanding what I'm saying. Do you think I'm saying that some feminists want an unequally-privileged society that favors females? No. That is not what I said. I said: "If you look at their behavior and rhetoric from an objective angle, many of them aren't...

    How does Feminism view Men?

I gave my impression based on the available information. I posted a video--available on this page--that overturns core assumptions of male privilege. Sources for the data are available in said post. It's hard to make a case for patriarchy or male privilege when the evidence is absent or even...

    How does Feminism view Men?

I'm not quite sure what you're asking...but here are some facts that speak to "privilege." Full list of sources used is available here: https://board.freedomainradio.com/topic/44261-youtube-the-truth-about-male-privilege/

    How does Feminism view Men?

This. This is what I take issue with. I don't like this simplistic view, and it's not accurate.

    How does Feminism view Men?

I was merely remarking on the fact that while nearly all feminists point to equality as their fundamental goal, if you look at their behavior and rhetoric from an objective angle, many of them aren't actually concerned with equality, but of expansion of female rights and privilege exclusively.

As a member of your own group, you can define yourself however you want. It doesn't necessarily make it true though.
