    I have been going to gurdwara for a long time. There is a part after the kirtan and before the prasad when Bhai Sahab stands up (as does everyone else) and starts saying something in Punjabi. Something like "Sat naam sri waheguru..." I need the English translation and Punjabi transliteration.

    I would want Western feminists to be less ethnocentric. There is a lot of tension over this. Feminism is needed all over the world, but it MUST be a grass roots movement. Women need to create their own feminist movements grown out of their problems specific to their region's circumstances.

    At ten years old a child is still in elementary school. It's not possible to truly consent to anything at such a young age. Please don't promote this crap. We don't live in the 7th century when people died young. Such marriages are not beneficial nor necessary.

    People online are more likely to be extremists, I think. There's a place for everyone on the internet. I've experienced some hate on Sikh sites for being Muslim, but I know in Sikhism you should not hate anyone.
