For Jews or Christians: Why Shema means what a Jew says

A united one for most trins means Gods of like kind. This makes them more POLYTHEIST than monotheist. Others don't specify what this ONE is, but of some kind of essence or electrons circling or shared diviness or something...but the fact is, all see God as a THEY and not a HE, sir. THEY being of...

I weren't sprechen of no one's ethnicity. So why you?

Bean: brain. Some have beans and some beanbrains. What else you wanna know? Which one are you? Does a beanbrain know he is one? Depends on the beans, and which endeth he speaks from, I would guess.

For Jews or Christians: Why Shema means what a Jew says

What is 12 out of 716? One point 7 percent. Do you honestly think, even under YOUR paradigm, God's Greatest Command would portray a less than 2% meaning? Is this not why the meaning is ABSENT under major OR minor defns in Strong's?

One son, one mountain. What of "echad" you want to portray? UNITY OF? Not so. One mountain. Rosends already told you.

No likey Haysoos? How do I know that? Think I'ma gonna change just 'cause you say so? How about arguing what he said instead of wantonly dismissing him? Diss the man, bite da bullet. That's what we say on da STREET, man. More to the real life problems of man: if you gotta wash before every...

    Abrahamic Only: Who is Jehovah?

Even a translated version of scripture is theologically informed...we see this often in the NT for various English versions. Unless the scripture is rendered verbatum or scribed EXACTLY it cannot but help reflect the actual theology of the later rabbi, as far as I can see. And commonsensically...

    Abrahamic Only: Who is Jehovah?

Sounds like you are pushing to make commentaries of equal weight to the originals...my first objection, sir.

Christians: Why Trinitarians are really polytheists

They view God as a "they" and not a "He." They view the word "God" as a compound three-in-one being of God. God is meant as "being." There are three Persons in that "Being." The BEING can be a "they" although called in Bible a "He." Even though three "he's" this singular HE is of "being" and...

    Abrahamic Only: Who is Jehovah?

God speaks to the original authors. Did he speak to later rabbis? Or did they just study to get their expoundings upon the original writings? This is a valid question for me. Why not you? The disparity between rival rabbis should TELL you that study of scripture is not the end all of authority.

    Abrahamic Only: Who is Jehovah?

Okay I did a wiki study, par for the course, for golfers... Mishnah is categorization of scripture by subject, as opposed to historical Biblical order of Books. OR the oral tradition which may also be categorized in subject order. Gemara is the commentaries of. Is this correct?

For Jews or Christians: Why Shema means what a Jew says

I was informed by Jesus. He happens to make a lot of sense. I was also trying to show you that you yourself cannot but prioritize Law, from the less stressed ones (by God) and the more important ones. Shema is the Single Law by which all Law and the prophets hang, why since the love of YHWH...

For Jews or Christians: Why Shema means what a Jew says

What is hid is the plain numerical one, "echad" which seems to bypass you bean. Bean having a nice day? Put that in your bean and have a nicer one. FIRST number a child learns when learning to count. SHIRKED by Jews for Jesus whom have no excuse.

For Jews or Christians: Why Shema means what a Jew says

Neither comparison holds up. The "one" of flesh is a non-literal analogy of a single homogenous "flesh" which portrays flesh on flesh, becoming a single unit, or a single sexual lump of phi slamma jamma...the "one" is not even a temporary or permanent condition, unless they be opposite sex...

For Jews or Christians: Why Shema means what a Jew says

Rabbis cannot discriminate between social Law and God's own Law unto Him? Even common sense tells us these Laws are NOT in the same category...although all social Law reflects the character and love of God. Proper priority and the weights and measures given Law means all Law is in proper order...

For Jews or Christians: Why Shema means what a Jew says

Biggest social Law. Biggest LAW is Shema to your God, and this is goofy I have to remind a JEW.

Yeah, that commentary by Brachot really does show you this Command is the Hardest Under the Sun..."Book by nothead," coming in the Spring of whenever.

For Jews or Christians: Why Shema means what a Jew says

Echad is not a united one. It means a stand-alone unit of one. Only one, and the context of Shema always was interpreted this way by all Jews dead or alive or halfway in between. NO OTHER ONE means only one. And Jn 17:3 reiterates it for you. When was Maimonides around, some time 12th century...

For Jews or Christians: Why Shema means what a Jew says

If no priority is given Law, and all laws are of general equal or doable en toto, then there is no concept that a greater law will necessitate the abrogation of a lesser law. This is just common sense, but for some reason, law mongers seem to think all laws can be done in combination, when in...

For Jews or Christians: Why Shema means what a Jew says

Maybe you then do not understand how awfully hard Shema is to do...do you in fact love God with ALL of your heart soul and being? Have you done this throughout your life? The mainline Christian view of Shema is wrong, since HE is not a unity of HE'S being a THEY. But your view is also...
