Because if they knew, there would be nothing to "believe" in the first place.
If it turns out right, it's the greatest story ever told, if it turns out wrong, it's the greatest story ever told.
Ok the bible does in fact mention more children, however they are after Seth. So still no one around when Cain killed Able, except the humans there created in the 6th day.
Genesis 5:4 (ESV) The days of Adam after he fathered Seth were 800 years; and he had other sons and daughters.
God created mankind on the 6th day. All the kinds of mankind. Just as he did the birds, red birds, blue birds etc. Adamn and Eve didn't get created till after. We can look at Cain for more proof, Cain was worried PPL would hunt him down for what he did, WHAT ppl?
If it were just Adam and Eve...

Its up for debate, here is a reference ---> Brooklyn Museum
Fertility is a common theme in the ancient past for good reason, many died. The sacred tree is also a symbol of life.
Correct, YHWH is not the FATHER. Why do I think that? Well we can start here:
8 When (elyown) the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.
9 For (YHWH's) the Lord’s...
Cain and Abel, mankind from the perspective of Adam and Eve as mankind already existed before Adam and Eve. And just who is Lilith?, some say she is Adams first wife, when looking at the translation i can see why. lol
First I want to say thank you, You have given me yet another mission lol. Im not turning up with your conclusion on the days but I am noticing some interesting things going on that I have not noticed before. It does seem like mankind before adam, complete with females. I have some digesting to...
Wait a minute, go on cause i may be missing something. So you agree Adam was the first man, but separate to mankind? Im not saying you are right or wrong im just interested in how you get to this. I will have to go back and look over those verses.
"Let (us) make man in (our) own image" I don't believe in the trinity so thats out, but since the FATHER is the creator of ALL things, including the "counsel of gods", then what ever the counsel creates still belongs to the FATHER. Not YHWH.
I read it as the text renders it, I do not understand everything but I understand plenty. For the things I struggle on I keep notes and research.
For me, it reads like this.
One FATHER many Gods. Counsel of Gods. (Genesis) (also confirmed in Deuteronomy with better detail)
YHWH does not get...
Lets say that Jews are correct, with that in mind, if the messiah actually did come do you think these modern humans would recognize him or shrug him off as another "crazy"? It would be interesting to see your opinion on it given how sterile humanity has become.
It is an interesting idea to ponder, I myself however don't believe it. But who knows, maybe. I believe we have been here before. Rise and fall, rise and fall, in cycles.
Correct, Jesus says no man has ever seen the FATHER. Not an apparition of the FATHER, not a spirit of the FATHER, not in any form of the FATHER, period. Only Jesus has seen him.
