I don't think it has anything to do with the beliefs that are presented but the way in which they are presented. From what I've seen recently, a large number of threads start with an "I am right and this proves it" mentality. If you go into a discussion with this mentality and someone voices an...
Just to help you out before the nit-picky people get here. I have a few questions you should answer right from the get-go.
How do you account for civilizations recording their history further back than this, with no mention of a massive flood?
Can you name the different "kinds"? Given your...
After waiting this long, nothing will live up to my standards. It could be the best game ever made and I will still be disappointed.
And I'm still waiting for Deus ex 3!!! 2011? Yeah, right!
This would be laughed out of higher courts. Freedom of speech is still intact. You can say whatever you want but you can't light **** on fire. It's a safety issue. Hence, the city burning ordinances.
I don't think it would even go to court, it's a misdemeanor. Fines and a slap on the wrist at most. My point was that your rights can only be exercised within the letter of the law. The city bylaws are not going to change, so these idiots will never be able to publicly burn 200 copies of the...
Actually, they don't. The city has denied them permits to hold the gathering or stage a bonfire. The cops are going to be watching and if they so much as strike a match they will be fined and the fire will be extinguished. If they try to push it they will most likely be arrested.
No, when you translate anything from one language to another, elements of the initial meaning are lost. The program only illustrates this concept.
I think this is mainly geared toward prissy people registering their unborn children for the "proper" preschool(as if there were such a thing), not schools in general.
Probably for the best. Mr. Jones is sleeping with the maid and Mrs. Jones spends more time getting her hair done than raising her children. To hell with the Joneses! And while we're on the subject, To hell with fancy schools!
Personally, I have always attributed the chronological discrepancies in Genesis to translation. It seems redundant and contradictory In english but when you haven't read the original source, how can you be sure?
To illustrate my point:Lost in Translation - Cross-language computer translation...
I was referring to YEC specifically.
If this is the case, how do we know that one "day" in the biblical context is not equivalent to hundreds of millions of years on our calendar?
In the interest of clarity, "kind" cannot be equated with "genus" for the simple fact that they are too specific...
I'm only gonna say this once. If Americans do not flock en masse to this protest in order to physically assault these retards for their stupidity, I don't want to hear any *****in' about the next terrorist attack, from anyone. Freedom of speech can be a great thing but when you extend that right...
I know what you mean but if he has to translate our posts to formulate an answer and then translate his answer for us, a large amount of information is lost in the translation process. The responses may be understandable but that doesn't mean they sufficiently convey the points he is trying to make.
My only problem with the MoH series is bulky and uncustomizable(at least to my satisfaction) control configurations but I'm still looking forward to the new edition. Granted, the last version I played was European Assault.
As for playing as a Taliban character, I don't really care. All first...
Thanks for the comprehensive timeline, now we're getting somewhere. Is this a generally accepted timeline for creationists or is there some contention amongst creationists about the dates involved? You have given definitive dates that place the earth as being 6,035 years old + 6 days (God...
