1 Peter 3:19 And Hebrews 9:27

Hi, Frank.
I'm new to the Forum.

All I can imagine is that Jesus' mission was not to condemn but to save.
When preaching to the "spirits in prison", his mission must have been to release them from that prison, to lead them to freedom.

I've read that some Christians believe Jesus just "announced" his victory, without having salvation in mind... with no solution offered to those imprisoned spirits. To me that would be improper of Jesus's character and overall action as described in the Gospels.

Regarding the relationship with Hebrews 9:27, I cannot tell if there is one. Let us know what you think.
