Oooh okie just read the title and op again, according to the site the top song for the day I was born was Ring my bell by Anita Ward.
i was gonna say. "Dan! you lucky one you!" How did you manage to be born on the same year for Pink Floyd 'Another Brick in the Wall 2'?. I wanted to be born that year, month & day. :(

Oh dear. Apparently, Barbra Streisand was at the top of the charts on the day I was born. Can I apply to have my birthday moved back to 1976 (Love Machine Pt. 1) or ahead to 1980 (Crazy Little Thing Called Love)?

Only if you video tape yourself singing and dancing to "Crazy little thing called love."

"Physical" by Oliva Newton-John.

Don't believe I've ever heard that one seeing as it's probably lacking electric guitars. :D

Rock with You - Michael Jackson

Ugh.

You know, looking over the charts of the various days, months and years, it almost always seemed to be some overrated hack, a poppy industry puppet, hippy hoppy flavor of the month, etc.

Although I didn't drink when I was 21, I did manage to bring in the occaision with a rather large bang.
The song featured was by a band that is also not one of my favorites. It is unlikely that I played it that day... though my records are extensive for that era, so I could probably look up what I listened to that day, lol.

1977 ... "New Kid in Town" by The Eagles
