Well, today is my ten year anniversary with Mrs. A_E.
It's been a good ten years. We've both focused on academics quite a bit - since we got married - between the two of us we've earned four degrees, and I'm almost done with the big taco. When I finish, she's going to start her Ph.D. program (sheesh!).
Mrs. A_E is a teacher, and last year she was Teacher of the Year for both her campus and district wide. She's been a teacher for seven years and has more distinctions and honors than I can shake a stick at.
I've done quite a bit, too, putting her through undergrad and grad school, and moving up to management in a major fundraising firm. I have a whole department to myself.
There's no little A_E puttering around the house, but that might change fairly soon.
We've been incredibly blessed!
