1000+ Cattle Dead

Subduction Zone

That is rather sad. Also it is something that we will see again and again. Last year it was my turn. We had record early heat in Washington. One single heat wave is not evidence for global warming, but heat wave after heat wave is strong evidence. This and increased instability in old weather patterns are what we would expect to see and have been seeing.

AGW will still be scoffed at until the scoffers feel the results for themselves.

Days of intense heat have killed thousands of cattle in Kansas

In Kansas amidst the heat wave hitting the majority of the US.

"The new losses come as farmers across the Great Plains region are already struggling to cope with drought and high winds, along with the increased threat of wildfires."

But don't worry, Climate Change is a hoax.
The real reason is here...

Yeah... High heat, coupled with extreme humidity in the air leading to wet bulb temperatures for Cattle. (Also what my article said)

I just talked to a local dairy farmer about this, cattle don't handle high heat well, or low cools either.

*But don't worry, Anthro Climate Change is nothing to worry about.

Edited.
You won't be surprised probably, but my take on this is that cattle don't handle slaughter well either. And yes, the reference is to dairy so there's this:

It isn’t unheard of for this kind of thing to happen. There are ways in which the cattle can still be harvested, such as grinding up their meat for dog food.

And as high as this number might seem… it’s nothing. This is a few thousand out of 6.35 million in Kansas alone.

From the article ...
Drought-plagued western Kansas recently saw rain. While the moisture was welcomed, it also coupled high humidity with high heat this week. As feedyards battled through the intense conditions to keep their cattle safe, the heat and humidity proved devastating, with estimates now pointing to feedlots seeing losses of 100 to 500 head per day.
Those "intense conditions" didn't come from a Cracker Jack box ...

It is an example of something that is becoming more heard of.
