2 Corinthians 2:17 (Religion as Employment)

I think that systems whereby a person's material support is based partly/fully on their religious work is not a good idea. I think it's fine as a legal freedom (of course). However, with regards to religion and beliefs, I encourage people to not connect their income and / or material support with their religious work. One reason, is that because under such a system, if ones beliefs and understandings change over time, they may not be open to change what they teach, especially if its tied to a statement of belief (e.g. creed) or belief system that is associated with their organization.
