Wow! Finally, you have decided to speak allegorically! Cal hacavod!
Meaning, suppose the Sanhedrin weren't doing their job. The were just collecting money in the temple, getting fat on roasted peace offerings, while gangs roamed the streets killing people for breaking the law. The Sanhedrin weren't doing their job, but Jesus took care of it.

Well! You are speculating on an assumption that could have never happened. The story is so badly arranged that it could have been only something made up by the Hellenist who wrote that gospel.

Or it could have been so badly arranged by a Greek trying to translate Hebrew. And yet still a very profound story.

Profound story! The story lacks a lot of Logic and obviousness. If one considers the details without allowing Christian preconceived notions to interfere, nothing can be true of the claimed event.

Because of the law? You remind me of Hillary. She believes making a law writes the crime out of existence. Delusional, out of touch with reality.

Don't discard Hillary's idea, mind you! Her point was to make a law to enhance obedience and therefore, to prevent the crime from being committed.

It follows the pattern of Jesus's death and resurrection. Jesus was dead for two full days.( A day begins at sunset in the bible) Two full days = 2000 years + part of a day. Jesus was resurrected before the morning of the third day, when people came to look that morning Jesus was already gone.

Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. -John 20:10

Part of Friday all of Saturday and part of Sunday, I believe can still come to less that two full days. That leaves one with a concept of symbolism but I have seen nothing in scripture that says it is.

It was all of Friday, I saw a line in scripture where the guy put Jesus in the Tomb at the end of the day, at sunset. Ancient Jewish scriptural day began at sunset.

I believe you are incorrect. Jesus was dead one full day plus three hours on Friday but no one know at wht time He resurrected on the third day. When the people came they observed an already accomplished fact not the actual event.

I believe the text says that he died at 3 pm on Friday giving only 3 hours till sunset and the next day. Three hours is not a full day.

3 p.m. on a Thursday because it was a special Sabbath for Passover. Laid in the tomb at Sunset, which is the beginning of a new day. So Jesus was in the belly of the earth all day Friday, Saturday and rose on Sunday before the dawn.

John 19:31 Now it was the day of Preparation, and the next day was to be a special Sabbath. Because the Jewish leaders did not want the bodies left on the crosses during the Sabbath, they asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies taken down.

Hillary is not so stupid as that. She just wants to put on the image of what she thinks. She knows better, though.

I believe there is nothing that says it is a thursday. Sabbaths always started on Friday.

If a day is 1000 years, the morning of the third day would be around 2570 years, but Christ was gone before the morning, and he said I will come quickly like a theif in the night, therefore closer to 2070 than 2570. Sooner than later

You can change the actual definition of the word day to make it mean all kinds of things it really doesn't.

"Special Sabbath", if you look at the feasts in the old testament there are Sabbath days that pertain only to them, special Sabbaths. The Saturday Sabbath was the regular Sabbath that starts on Friday night.
