Thus there are entire extended families who have spent generations in what are essentially concentration camps which are the size of small towns or cities. Entire families have been sentenced to death, or imprisoned simply because one member "illegally" downloaded music that the evil CCP didn't like.

If we take this as and multiply by zhina's 1.4 billion people we get 6,860,000 in prison. However the US only imprisons people for actual violent crimes and not for thought-crimes so to have a more accurate picture we should multiply by 5 to get the actual numbers, then multiply by 5 again to account for the extended family members who are imprisoned along side and not included in actual government figures which comes to 171 million people who are in prison. This often includes vast swathes of indigenous ethnic groups such as Tibetans and Uyghurs who are in jail and/or secret concentration camp's simply for existing
