A deal with God?

Ok, so a while back *a few days ago* I made a post asking if a Christian would make a deal with Satan, gaining the power to fix the countries and people's problems in exchange for giving up worship.
most said no.

let us try a reversal of sorts.

You meet God and he offer's you a Deal. the parameters of the deal? in exchange for you converting and destroying those of other faith's you get to become an Archangel. you get the wings the power and you can pretty much do what you want with it as long as you meet that first stipulation.

also by power, I don't mean the pathetic things most depict I mean Sodom and Gomorrah level power of nuking cities into obilivion with God magic and turning people to salt kind of power. OT type of tier.

in exchange for that power and seemingly becoming a beloved Archangel, you have to destroy the temples and people's of other faiths. before someone questions the validity of this prospect I suggest you read the old testament as this is hardly beyond what he hath asked of humans before. you just get an actual reward for it.

If the Lord wants me to do something He will grant me the ability to do so, and then set me to the task. No need to make deals. Which shouldn't be surprising.

I am more interested in what non-christians would think of the deal though.

I would take it. I get wings and powers and the only stipulation is destroying temples and people? il start with the middle east. it would be fun too as you can just walk up to let us say mecha pop out your wings and then smite them when they bow.
yeah its probably not a good idea to give me celestial power.

besides the Abrahamic god part? yeah, but if you read the OT him asking for the destruction of others is normal. its unrealistic because you actually get something out of it

If you read in the Tanakh, the Tanakh God didn't guarantee victory either. Having any supermen would not fit with the ideas of the Tanakh.

still, his asking of destruction is normal, you just never get anything out of it.

though funny most people on here lack the comprehension to understand a question does not have to be realistic for them to answer. most just dont want to answer the truth in that most would take this deal or the one with a devil.

I'm just not into the whole power thing. Killing off others for no good reason makes that deity evil. No deal.
