A great victory for the internet

FCC Approves Net Neutrality Rules For 'Open Internet' : The Two-Way : NPR

The FCC approved net neutrality by a 3-2 vote! A free and open internet benefits everyone! A more accessible internet will help geek culture proliferate! I am not ashamed to say I am proud to be a gamer! I grew up with games like Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic and Final Fantasy and I don't have any problems introducing geek culture to the next generation! A more accessible internet would make that much easier!

Government gains more control over the internet......hmmm.....me no likey.
"Neutrality" is one of those benign sounding vague words which can cloak more nefarious goals, eg, higher taxes, more regulation.

What do you think the odds are that there will be a "federal tax" assessed or some other "federal fee" on ones internet bill?

Blades of Steel is still the greatest video game of all time ... no internet needed.

Basically it's the government trying to exert force upon the Internet.

They can call it anything they want. It's the same result.
