A Hindu, a Jew and a Politician got stranded on a country road. Seeing a farm they knock on the farmhouse door seeking someplace to spend the night. The farmer says they can stay but he only has two spare beds, but there is room for one in the barn too. The Hindu volunteers to sleep in the barn. Ten minutes later he returns saying he can't sleep in the barn. There is a cow there which Hindus consider sacred animals so he can't sleep next to it. The Jew volunteers to sleep in the barn instead. Ten minutes later he returns saying he can't sleep in the barn. There is a pig in the barn and he can't possibly sleep next to it. The Politician goes to sleep in the barn. Ten minutes later there is a knock on the door. It's the cow and the pig.
