Ok, what I know is this: in Judaism you are Jewish if your mother was/is Jewish, even if you are not a practicing Jew. So what I would like to know is if I am Jewish...My great-nan was Jewish, so her daughter would be-which is my nan, then her daughter would be Jewish-which is my mum, so does that make me Jewish?

Halachically (jewish law) yes, you are a jew.

if you are interested in learning about the faith of your forefathers (or foremothers if you like) i'd suggest finding a chabad-lubavitch center near you, when it comes to jewish outreach they are the best and boy, can they party!
also check out www.jewfaq.org

it's a great place to start.:)
