A nation of Animal lovers ???

That's often been said about the British, in the main it's true. But, there is a darkside, cruelty towards animals is also running at record highs. Only yesterday, the Sun newspaper published pictures of a dalmatian dog hung from a tree.

The catalogue is growing all the time, with cats being microwaved, to horses being left to starve to death.

Just what is wrong with people, I don't understand it, some 200 new cases are being reported everyday, if people can't treat animals with respect and kindness, what hope for them treating other humans in a decent and resonsible manner >
it makes me sick.

Humans have always been this way, I doubt it will ever change, hopefully I will be proven wrong.

Sadly, I think your right, it's not only yobs, who are responsible for some of the cruelty, but so called pet lovers. Take that crazy women who had over two hundred pets crammed into a small flat, kept in disgusting conditions, clearly a nut.

Cheers
