A question about poltergeists.

I'd ask them exactly what they think poltergeists are and why they think the house is haunted by them. Then I'd try to establish what the actual problem is and address that. Hypothetically.

I would start with the question of 'why he thinks they are something bad'.

I actually learned in Torah about a type of demon with similar characteristics to that of a poltergeist. This lead me to consider that poltergeists might not be real at all and are in actuality this demon. That being said, i would advise my friend to get out of the house immediately since there is nothing else [that i know of] to be done.
