What would you use it for?

I could melt things, and I'd be able to start fires from a distance. I could also use it to see the skeletons around me, count the pennies under the couch cushions, see where the fish are in the water. I'd be a hero among spelunkers, because I could always find new tunnels. I could shoot down drones, check bank vaults and tools for cracks. Most likely the Navy would want me to spot submarines for them.
