Does anyone still use the term 'fruit' as a gay slur? I know there's still a lot of hatred attached to a few terms, but I can't remember the last time I heard 'fruit' used. Did it go out of style?

I only hear it in jokes these days. I think it got replaced by more vulgar and direct slurs, as it became more acceptable (god help us) to use them in public. "Fruit" was for the generation when you weren't supposed to talk about homosexuality at all.

Of course, a slur is a slur. Intent matters more than literal meaning, to me.

Im lesbian. Someone called me a fruit cake. I didnt know if he meant I was crazy or his ego was crushed when his friend told him i am gay while he was hitting on me. I hear it a lot with gay guys. Its still around; and, I find it derogatory.

Puffy ,that's what they called me in South Africa. But it was not a so badl intention, it was like; bro you are a puffy I know because my brother is also puffy.

Various studies have supported the idea that ones sexuality is caused by hormones they are exposed to during their mothers pregnancy. Males exposed to estrogen are more likely to like men and women exposed to more testosterone are more likely to be attracted to women.

I think its both.

IF it's about hormones effect on psychological of someone , so it's not about genetic .

What is wrong with brain??? Definitely nothing wrong. Get me as an example , I can manage a construction site where it peaks more than a thousand of people from all around the world. I can simply run this without any problems and I am a gay,so what was the question?
