A question to a situation that happen yesterday.

The conscious self is mostly just an observer in life.
We think we are consciously in charge while the subconscious mind actually does most of the thinking/decisions.

For example on my drive to work for most of it, I was not thinking about driving. My subconscious mind did most of the driving.
I'd suspect people who suffer from sleepwalking have a greater understanding of the subconscious mind going about doing things in the world while they are consciously absent.

Some people drive me crazy. And....it's a short drive.

This one i have no clue how to interpret

I was walking and as usual I think a lot when I walk...it was a dry pavement and no sand on it....in that moment i had a bad thought about a person i know, and I felt a pretty hard nudge in my left side, and I dont mean just one part like in my shoulder, but all of my left side of the body, from the shoulder to my feet. In the next moment i found my self on the opposit side of the road  it was at least 6 feet apart from where I had been when I had this bad thought of an other person...

I just cant explain the nudge, nor the sudden move to the side (6 feet):confused: without me moving my feet to the side o_O

Any clue?
And please, no joking or non serious answers.

I know that you sensed that it happened to you. Is it possible that it happened to someone else, and you experienced it?

Why?
Had do you expect anyone on this forum to interpret such a subjective and suspect circumstance? You said that there were witnesses there, that saw you translate 6 feet from where you were previously? So, for the sake of having a malicious thought in your head, you feel that some supernatural force, for some inexplicable reason, felt that it was somehow purposeful to move you across to the other side of the street, and that, not by your own volition?
How do you correlate the meaning between the thought in your head, with being moved six feet, or nudged in the side - what does one have to do with the other as far as the principle is concerned?

Sorry, I feel that people over analyze strange events, and are absolutely unrestrained in all the explanations that their willing to entertain. The mind is extremely powerful on a normal or healthy day, let alone when one is fatigued, famished, depressed or stressed, prone to fantastical imaginations, etc... That is, its power can be a double-edged sword, we hallucinate, forget, misinterpret, fantasize, deny, delude, etc...

I don't think that anyone here, for various reasons, is qualified to offer a viable explanation to your phenomenon, except for @TransmutingSoul who addressed it where it belongs - in your mind only.

I know it was not my mind doing it. I am unable to teleportation.

Well, the whole event appears to be meaningless. Like I said, if one action was related to the other, we could draw a significant conclusion about how one event was a direct reaction to the other. But, again, a nudge 6 feet over means what - approval or disapproval, aggression or tenderness, harm or safety????
Utterly capricious and meaningless.

To you it is meaningless

Outa here... bye-bye!
Care to tell more about this?
Or would you rather keep it to yourself?

It's so weird that I'm still processing it ten years later.
I'd not hijack this thread, and IDK if I will ever make one about it.

If you are not going to discuss it, why mention it?
Having had an even stranger event, I understand reluctance to post one's theories.
I have reluctance to even post the facts in the case, and I've made a post of my experience
about a poltergist in my bathroom!

My experience from this thread is that some experience we have in life may be better of not shared with others :)

I don't mind sharing a lot here really, this virtual me on a forum is an outlet I don't have IRL.
And, relatively safe one at that. But I've learned (the hard way) never to let out personal info.

Almost any astronomer or astrophysicist will tell you that they believe in extraterrestrial life. This is because there are trillions of stars and planets that orbit them. Out of all that, they figure that life evolved.

The US government is restarting Project Bluebook. It is designed to hunt for alien invaders from outer space.

A common theme among those who "claim" to have been abducted is "lost time." Suddenly they glance back at their watch, and in just an instant, many minutes have passed.

Could it be that the sudden shift of your position was due to alien abduction?

Do you remember getting probed?

Do you have any unidentifiable metal objects embedded in you?

Do you remember seeing grays (gray aliens with large almond-shaped eyes, skinny necks, and bony fingers)?

We could leap to the conclusion that your experience had to do with God or spirits, but we don't know that for a fact.

There is a being in my life who communicates with me by touching my body

Touching the left of my body means "yes" and touching the right means "no"

I think that the being who communicates with me may have been communicating with you!

Psychologists consider touching to be lucid dreaming (and it can occur when awake as a day dream). However, I favor the idea that live psychics or dead spirits nudged her.

I agree with you :) it was a personal experience and even negative coments can't take away what the experience means to me.

As long as we all respect each other.

You had a traumatic experience, you poor dear. We all support you and care for you.

We each have our own ideas about your experience, and we all (speaking for everyone) hope that we didn't offend you.

You mentioned that you regret sharing this experience with us. We don't think less of you. We are gratified that you trusted in our judgement and maturity in answering your questions.

Big hug.

There is much that people don't understand about the world around them, and part of the problem is that they don't notice it. Some day, go outside and clear your mind with the intent to listen. You will hear wind, leaves, birds, distant trains and traffic. All of this was constantly around you, but you never heard any of it (consciously). But, your unconscience filtered out the extraneous and focused on what you need to carry on.

By stopping to pay attention, you learn a lot more.

Perhaps some of ESP is merely observation.

In our faith, we simply take our thoughts into captivity and force it to obey the will of God. Forgive, if we have to, pray for that person and....

:D

Bind that spirit that put that thought in your mind :) and bumped you :)

Edited....

But that, of course, is just my viewpoint. :)

People are entirely too harsh on spirits. We first should know the intent of the spirit before we bind it or in any way restrict or harm it.

It could have been a good spirit...like a guardian angel. It may have wanted to pull her out of a funky mood, and make her think good and nice thoughts. Negative thoughts can be damaging (to ourselves or others).

The thread is about an unexplained phenomenon, what that phenomenon was is "unexplained". My post about the "light" was specifically about a topic @KenS brought up,
I understand, but I thought that I would mention this scientific explanation about hearing voices using technology, because I thought that you referenced the issue. Go back and look at your previous post.

Sometimes I provide too much information.

This is precisely the kind of behavior of a poultergeist.

Poultergeists generally do this for young people (especially young girls). I don't fully understand why.

Poultergeists are playful, and sometimes harmful. Sometimes they get revenge.

If this is a poultergeist issue, expect more to follow....this is not over.
