Abortion laws

I am not worried here's why. I heard a speech given by a Republican senate who believed abortion was wrong but still voted pro abortion.

The reason why is if abortion is illegal the courts will be circuses. We don't have the room or the time or money to actually pursue prosecuting folks who have abortion or abortionists and if they try the courts would be so over run things would not get done, court cases would be called off actually because there's no time or room.

Also they can decide not to enforce the law, if policemen don't have the time they don't actually have to respond to calls.

In fact once when we had a big fire in my city I had to call the 911 they only sent one guy instead of a bunch of them, I was stuck in my chair ,lol he got me out.

But he said I would spend more time but we could not send more the none person to check it out if firemen or policemen he said are wrapped up with other people they don't have to send more then one person. If they figure that its a deal that's not an emergency like( he didn't say this but
it would apply) mine was but if its not a life and death emergency really the policeman does not have to inforced the law and arrest someone if they are needed in a serious situation.

So if someones trying to arrest someone for having an abortion they might send someone down there but he does not have to enforce the law and arrest that person if the jail is over run and they are all out doing serious stuff. That's what the fireman said really policeman do not have to enforce the law even if itsnot a serious situation, jay walking is against the law too.

I seen a lot of stuff on tv too, about drug arrests and some police say that they don't even arrest folks for
possession of drugs if they are addicts they can either send them to jail one night or give them a ticket. I saw an arrest done on a group of folks for pot once he was arrested out in the police car for an hour or 2then let go with no ticket.

The policeman said he would not ticket or arrest pot smokers, he either lets them sit in his car awhile then lets him go or sends them to jail for one night then lets them go no ticket. He said they don't have the time or place or money to send pot smokers to jail.

Its up to the cops to enforce the law or not, if they don't have a place for it and its a non violent crime they don't have to enforce the law and some will say abortion is not a violent crime nor serious.

Policemen on the cops show not arresting drug addicts said the cops do not have to enforce the law they have to keep law and order the peace so they try not to arrest non violent laws that have been broken.

I think that if there are any changes, it will be in reference to the last trimester abortions. Probably against doctors who perform them.

Maybe so.Just making sure y'all have all the info.Yes just to say it one more time when it comes to putting folks in jail, if its not a serious crime nor a violent crime because prison are over run police are not required to arrest folks for crimes.

Crimes that require arrest are shop lifting stealing killing robing kidnap assault violence bank robers breaking and entering all of that. I would hate to see abortionists get tickets though.

However as they said with pot people they have to arrest them if they catch them breaking the law but they can choose to send them to jail for a day and release them with no ticket and no probabtion and they can choose to give out warnings instead.

So theres no reason for abortionists or those who get abortions to worry about being arrested.

For me personally, it is wrong, but what another woman does is not my business.

I think it depends on the willingness to enforce a law that prohibits abortion. How strongly do those in power endorse it? Consider this one reason they are in power. I don't think Roe v Wade will ever be completely struck down but may be returned to the States.

Abortion was illegal for most of the history of this country. Neither the Courts nor the police were overwhelmed. The only ones who suffered were women who got botched illegal abortions. That's something that self-righteous holy rollers don't care about.

So, in at least half the States it will be illegal - again.

This is what happened decades ago. Congress couldn't pass legislation covering abortion leaving it to the states thus voter base. SCOTUS became the battleground as states were sued by citizens and organizations. If Roe vs Wade were overturned the battle between citizen and state would resume.

As if.

We won't be going backwards in civilisation.

When abortion was made illeagal it wasn't possible to determine for instance if the baby was ill or malformed. Now we know. It should obviosuly become a socially acceptable exception.

Though personally I am for all abortions done before the time limit and the correct way being acceptable.

What is more important is that the proper ways of having an abortion are available for all and birth control education and availability.
