Abortion vs sterilization: which is preferable?

Freedom is an absolute concept...of course.

For example a woman can say: "I want to be free to engage in wild kamasutra without protection and I want to be free to abort the child, in case I get pregnant".
All that matters is saying it out loud, without pretending to be Saint Maria Goretti. :)

I appreciate honesty.

Freedom is not an absolute concept in practice and preferable is a first person subjective case of think/feel.
So the answer to this: Abortion vs sterilization: which is preferable? Is a case of what a given person think/feel!

A more realisitic scenario would be a person saying "I want to be free to engage in wild kamasutra and I want to be free to abort the child, in case I get pregnant should my protection fail".

Without such mentality, it would be difficult to find a willing partner or partners.

Pretending of course to NOT be Dr. Gianna Beretta Molla at the same time.

Yes...but I can promise you that the hormonal pill can decrease the sex drives and the pleasure... so some women will prefer to have the maximization of pleasure over taking the pill.

Such women should consider alternatives like the Implanon or Mirena devices.

Should a woman experiences changes in sex drive and intimacy with every form of contraception, then she would be considered a special case.

A person I think you will admire.

Considering that the Left never draws a limit over the pregnant woman's freedom...I can suspect that they would even approve of this:

;)
After all, she had decided so, because that's what she thought/felt... ;)

Whatever. I have different feelings that what you call the Left and I have also different feelings than you. So I am neither your Left nor you.

I mean....after watching this video on abortion, and how terrible it is to watch, I am starting to wonder that If I had the power I would make sterilization a free and available practice for all women who want to have a more tranquil sex life.

What do you guys think? If sterilization were affordable...wouldn't it better for a woman?
Also considering what happened to that woman in Georgia.
If she had been sterilized, she would have been alive, now.

I would imagine that sterilization or some other method of birth control would be better than abortion. However, I think all options should be available, legal, and affordable.

Considering the new wave of tragedies due to the implementation of draconian laws in the Bible Belt, I believe that sterilization can save women's life. Because abortion pills can also have side effects....as we saw in the Georgia case.

Thank you for sharing the video. Useful for a well informed opinion on abortion

Watching this I wondered "how could this man do 1200 abortions and sleep well?". I was not surprised that he stopped his job "killing fetuses"

I think it would be good to show this video to all boys and girls, before they have sex, in school would be useful. Might be hard to watch, but if it prevents abortion it is totally worth it, I would say, after watching your video

Sterilisation seems a much better solution than killing fetuses

Sterilization is pretty permanent.
Not wanting, or not being able to handle, a child "now" doesn't mean that this would remain so for the future.

Ridiculous, not to mention disgusting, comment.

Also, didn't you consider yourself a leftie?
Even though you seem to be worshipping every extreme right politician...

Sterilization makes the most sense, since it takes way the divisive argument of killing the unborn. The pro-life people treat the unborn as alive which is supported by the definition of life, that is used by science. All the cells of the unborn are alive by that definition.

The Left could avoid all their Legal gymnastics, of defining a nebulous term like personhood, which then create confusion when you consider people in comas. The unborn is at about the level of dependence as a person in a coma. Those in a coma are still considered alive.

At the very least, after the third abortion, strike 3, then automatic sterilization should apply, right after the abortion #3. Obviously we are not talking about planned parenthood, but unconscious compulsions and regrets, that then take a life to appease.

If we had sterilization, my hunch tells me, women would have babies younger and then sterilize. This would avoid the biological clock ticking when there is nobody home. They would get closer to their children and grandchildren they can enjoy them while much younger. There will still be time to pursue a career, also; have it all.
