I don't know if anyone else is excited for this movie. How can a movie that by all rights seems like it will be terrible by it's name alone...seem so awesome?

I have two problems with the plot:

(1) Lincoln only opposes slavery to fight vampires. It trivializes the issue.
(2) Vampires can't exist unless they can legally buy slaves. Really??

I'm not going to see it, but I don't like this type of movie anyway. Supernatural stuff makes everything too easy for the writers.

You seem to be confusing my personal reasons for not wanting to see it with a movie review or social commentary. I just don't like this kind of movie. I don't like any superhero movies either.
