Wasn't there a book on this?

The movie I'm definitely not gonna miss :D

I have two problems with the plot:

(1) Lincoln only opposes slavery to fight vampires. It trivializes the issue.
(2) Vampires can't exist unless they can legally buy slaves. Really??

I'm not going to see it, but I don't like this type of movie anyway. Supernatural stuff makes everything too easy for the writers.

Hmm, I thought it'd be more like Nazi Zombies off CoD but with vampires.

Let me point out a couple things to you:
1) The title of the movie is "Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter".
2) You're criticizing the plausibility of the back story.

What next? Will you tell me that Iron Sky isn't accurate or that some sacred cow is "trivialized"?

Abraham Lincoln + vampires? I seriously thought it's some kind of joke until I realized a few moments ago it's for real. It has to be watched, just has to :D

And Iron Sky! The first reviews have been disappointed, though. I really hope it's worth watching.

We'll finally get the true story behind Lincoln, instead of the fabricated myths proffered by a conspiracy of government historians.

You may be right. I just wonder where he learned those kung fu skills. China Town?

I have a similar gift with a shovel.
(The William H Macy character in Mystery Men was based upon me. Yeah....I'm that good.)

You seem to be confusing my personal reasons for not wanting to see it with a movie review or social commentary. I just don't like this kind of movie. I don't like any superhero movies either.
