Many "celebratees" particularly actors/actresses, are quite pretty physically, but I have no particular respect or admiration for them. I also find those brightly colored, iridescent glass globes that some people use as lawn ornaments to be very pretty -- but I don't honor them.

I expect an acting professional to be competent at his or her job, just as I expect a mechanic, physician or plumber to do his/her job properly. (Which is the most socially useful skill I'll leave open to debate)

I find most attractive those actors that take a strong stand on the issues of the day, those that devote time, energy or money to social causes.
The pretty ones? -- I'd sooner toss some more seeds onto the feeder and watch the pretty feathered folk, thank you.

I don't really keep up with celebrities... I like whoever played the main character in Miss Congeniality. I also find Johnny Depp cute, but in more of a 'awwe, I want to pet you and give you a treat' way than a sexual way.

How wonderfully put, Jensa! I'm not sexually attracted to any actors or actresses, but some of them I do want to cuddle and coo at. I've been protesting my wuv for Dominic Monaghan versus my mom's wuv for Sean Bean, lately. I nearly had a fist fight with a couple of checkout ladies over it.
