Admin question on privilege

I'm not sure the best place to ask this.

Everytime I visit RF, things have changed so it takes a few days to navigate through them.

I was in the Catholic dir and wanted to respond to a post, but at the bottom it states.

"You have insufficient privileges to reply here."

What exactly does that mean?

TIA

In the old days, it was easy to forget to verify
one was allowed to post in a particular DIR.
Accidentally posting where one didn't belong
would get some panties in a twist. Knuckles
bloodied. Infractions issued. Pearls clutched.

That's fixed now. Just go to your personal profile
to select which DIRs you identify with, & then
you're allowed to post there.
Complexities exist, but the system works well.
(Except for staff, whose salary is based upon
how many tickets they write.)

Welcome back!

You will need to go to your profile under “personal details” and a check the box next to Abrahamic Religions DIR. Give the software about an hour to refresh, and you should be able to post in the Catholic DIR.

Didn’t see this until I responded. Sorry for the rhetorical response.
